During her residency, Bims will focus on capturing universal and timeless experiences that evoke nostalgia and highlight the beauty of celebration in everyday life. The artist aims to reflect shared emotions and memories, honouring personal and communal joyful moments. At its core, her practice celebrates the essence of community—those connections, traditions, and gatherings that bring people together and shape our collective experience.
This residency will give her the freedom and time to paint without constraint, allowing me to truly explore her craft and deepen my understanding of my identity as an artist.
